  Irrigation

Cherimoya need plenty of moisture when growing, but should not be watered when the fruit have matured or the trees are dormant. If trees are drought-stressed they will drop their leaves, exposing the fruit to sunburn. When the first leaf buds appear, irrigation can be resumed. Drip irrigation can be a good way of supplying water.
