Cherimoya milkshake
1 cherimoya
milk
ice-cream
sugar or honey

Mix ingredients together in a blender until smooth and slug the lot back.

Cherimoya smoothie
For a thick smoothie, use frozen fruit and chill all ingredients as well as the serving container.
2 cups frozen cherimoya pulp, seeds removed
2 cups frozen banana chunks
1 cup skim milk
250ml strawberry or plain non-fat yoghurt
1/2 tsp flavouring essence, such as almond, vanilla or strawberry (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Drink immediately.
Serves 2.

Cherimoya and papaya smoothie
1 cherimoya
1 papaya
1 Tbsp honey
1/2 cup crushed ice

Peel and seed cherimoya and papaya, then puree with the honey in a blender, followed by the ice, and continue until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and drink at once.
Makes about 4 cups.

Cherimoya soft drink
Strain out the juice, add a slice of lemon and dilute with iced water to make a refreshing soft drink.

Cherimoya liquor
Cherimoya can be fermented to produce a delicious alcholic beverage.

Cherimoya daiquiri
3/4 cup chopped cherimoya
100ml light rum
25ml Curacao
2 tsp sugar
25ml lime juice
2 cups crushed ice

Blend all ingredients until thick, frosty and smooth.
Makes 2 servings.
